Eky was a true professional. She really listened to what I was after and respected my style, taste and budget. She was very prepared for our initial appointment and came with ideas and product samples. I had just moved to a new unit and really wanted to have some expert ideas on how to manage my relatively smaller space while maintaining a nice, modern look with a homey feel. What impressed me the most was that despite the distance between our two locations she was able to coordinate my project through her E-Design service. Before now I didn’t know such a thing existed, and I never thought I could afford to employ the services of an interior designer. But she worked with my budget to prepare a décor concept that was perfect for me and right now I’m having a great time decorating at my own pace! I engaged Eky from Door42 Interiors to assist with some interior styling towards the end of our living room and kitchen renovations. Even though I had some fixed ideas about how I wanted the finished rooms to look, Eky was able to help me decide between the many hybrid flooring colour options and provided guidance with my lighting choice as well. Once I was ready to style the living rooms, Eky assisted me to choose the right colours for our rugs, cushions and curtains to fit in with our existing furniture and has given me some great ideas for further styling indoors and outdoors. Eky took her time to get to know me and my style and didn't force her ideas onto me, but instead worked alongside me to create the look I was after with valuable advice along the way. It really helped to have someone to bounce ideas off and assist with the plethora of choices out there, and the shopping was lots of fun! I can't wait for our vision to be completed.

I recently decided to sell my 8 room house after 12 years of living in it. I approached 3 interior designers to help with staging the property but was most taken by Eky’s suggestions. These included revamping the aged interior, and then staging with existing furniture, along with a few newly purchased pieces to be transferred to my new home after the property sale.
