Since 2019, we’ve been making beautiful interiors attainable across different styles, spaces, stages of life, and project scopes. The best spaces are personal. They reflect who you are, how you live and what matters to you. We bring this to life through thoughtful styling, beautiful details and a considered balance of beauty, function and personality.

From a single room to a complete transformation, every project is thoughtfully curated to create interiors with character, warmth and intention; spaces that feel elevated but never impersonal.

Door 42 Interiors

I’m Eky Akporhonor; founder and interior stylist behind Door42 Interiors.

I believe the spaces we live and work in should do more than look beautiful. They should make us feel better, live better and become more ourselves.

With a background in design, interiors and medical environments, I bring a thoughtful eye to the relationship between space, wellbeing and everyday life. I’m particularly drawn to creating intentional interiors that support everyday living, evolving lifestyles, sensory needs and general wellbeing, from homes and workplaces, to salons, clinics, medical practices and creative spaces, designed around people and how they feel.

My approach is instinctive, layered and deeply personal, combining beauty, texture, functionality and feeling to create spaces that are as individual as the people who inhabit them.

At Door42, I’m less interested in following trends and more interested in creating a space that feels beautifully, unmistakably yours.
